PRODUCERS – STADIUM STATUS
“Kalani Ware” and CJ Wheeler aka “Skyscrapa” began their partnership as a music production team in January 2010, in Houston, TX. They both had thriving careers as successful producers, and produced several top local artist, but made a decision to fuse their talents, and create an electronic, super-sonic sound like no other which they call “THE NEW SOUND” that would expand not just locally, throughout the South Texas Region, but expand internationally as well. They are both accomplished Beat Battle winners, Kalani winning the championship for Houston in 2007, and Skyscrapa becoming the champion for 2009, as well as competing in “The Red Bull Big Tune” competition held in Atlanta in 2009. Recently they became the “ATLANTA BEAT BATTLE” winners for the month of December 2010. It’s been predicted by their peers that they are THE NEXT “SUPER PRODUCERS” of our time…and they have already started to live up to that prediction with their name… “STADIUM STATUS”

- How did you get into producing?
We both got into producing because we always had a deep passion for music & and we really feel that we were destined to create different types of music for people around the world.
- Where did your love/interest for music come from ?
Our love interest for music came at early ages for both of us before we started school. Both of our families were musically talented. Some of the instruments they played were the trumpet & flute, & piano. Music was always a part of our households.
- What was your very first project ?
Our very first project as a team was a track we created for the legendary “Scarface”
- Who have you worked with ? Who do you want to work with ?
We have tracks submitted to “Scarface”, Keysha Cole, & Mya….all still pending release. We want to work with: Chris Brown, Drake, Lil Wayne, Usher, T-Pain, Mariah Carey…& so many more… Our music is so versatile we can create a sound for anyone who steps into our studio.
- Which project made you feel like, okay, I have my foot in the door now ?
We’re still hustling…but probably our first track submitted to ”Scarface”
- Where do you see your career going ?
We see our career going beyond the stars!
